I recently had to change form r10 to r15 and if I am watching a show over 10 to 15 min. without changing channels the directv screen pops up its like it has a power safe on it all I have to do is press a btn and it goes back to the picture, is there a way to turn that off

It sounds like your screen saver is comming on. That usually happens when you have an error message on the screen for some time. If you dont have an error message that you can see it may be that your 2nd satellite in cable is not getting a signal and you have a searching for satellite on sat in 2 its just not showing because you are still getting programing. chech your signal strength on the 2nd tuner and see if it is low

I have ck both sat 1 and 2 and they both at 98 percent

and yeah it is like a screen saver which the r10 never did do

Call tech support maybe that R15 needs some help.
