However, rumor on the street is that the DSR530 project is kaput for all intensive purposes.
After 2 years of Motorola blaming SC for programming errors and vice versa, it appears the root cause of the problem is Motorola crap hardware. Further credence to this is that the new SD receivers (207/317) are not running into problems using the same Motorola/SC code.
Supposedly the next 530 code will only be released to SC employees with 505/530s at home. Only if it appears stable after 2 months will it be released to subs.
Apparently SC upper management is refunding full retail cost of 530s to dissatisfied subs.
