Thanks for bringing to my attention. It's programmed on the VCR to record Episode 2 on Sunday @ 10pm local. I've never heard of this Oak Island. I like treasure hunts.

The 1967 Shag Harbour incident gives me chills. I fear I fell asleep on the shore when my mothercraft up and departed. I've been to the site down the South Shore and it felt hauntingly familiar.

If I lose interest in Oak Island, there's always Pawn Stars. Rick and crew always entertain me if I'm bored. One of the best shows on the dial.

The Wikipedia article about Oak Island, to the suggestible mind, suggests this show will have as big a climax as Al Capone's vault, minus Geraldo Rivera. Pawn Stars, now there's something to sink your teeth into...

Just watched from tape the Sunday episode of Curse of Oak Island. This week on my drive down South Shore of NS, I saw the Oak Island exit on the highway. It's only an hour from my home.

I may let others report back on progress of show. I have a sense this crew on the hunt may have more time amd money than sense. But they did find coconut fiber. Or so they say.
