Dabl popped-up (without no notice) on KCBS 2.3 here in Los Angeles over the weekend, while I was re-scanning my local channels. The official launch of the channel isn't until two weeks from today (Monday, September 9).

The list says the new CBS channel in St Louis is KTVI 2.4. Presently in St Louis, FOX is channels 2.1, 2.2, & 2.3. CBS channels are 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, & 4.4. How come the new channel is 2.4? Shouldn't it be in with the other CBS channel numbers?
It’s owned by CBS, doesn’t mean it will be on a CBS station. The CBS Owned and Operated stations will probably have it, but in 90% of the rest of the USA, odds are it will be on something other than a cbs affiliate. It’s going on the local religious channel in Tulsa.
KGEB has 3 new subchannels going today in Tulsa. 53.2 is a new west coast feed of LightTV and we already have an East coast feed on KWHB 47.2. 53.3 is simulcasting the main Golden Eagle Broadcasting channel in SD, so I’m guessing that will be DABL. 53.4 is some other religious station.
Edit: looks like DABL will go to KWHB replacing Light TV. I spent 2 years of filing corrections with TiVo to get the guide correct on 47.2. It was just fixed a month ago.

It is interesting that my Fox affiliate (KPTV) is slated to carry the channel rather than my CBS affiliate (KOIN).
Joplin getting it to. Topeka not yet. Tulsa,St. Louis get on 2 Stations and OTA in KC area on 3 Stations. The ones going on Tribune stations are the Tribune ones that are going to be sold.
