DANG!!! Can't read external drive .

So I received from Dish, a replacement 922VIP and a WD My Book AV.

Downloaded 922 to external 1 (took about 24hr's).

Swapped receivers, plugged in external drive.

When I go to external device 1,I get ...

"The attached USB storage device is currently configured for use with another DISH network account. USB storage devices may only be used with one account at a time. To use this device with this receiver, all
existing archived events will be deleted. do you want to delete all existing events?"

WTF

I think it's because it thinks your other receiver is active. I alerted a DIRT member to this thread. If you want you can contact a DIRT member yourself. Just PM one of the members in RED at the bottom of the forum page.

It helps when you Change over receivers, to call DISH to activate the new receiver. Duh
