Seems EA raised prices at some stations this month. I've been trying to use the 1000kWh of free charging that came with my EV9 as it wouldn't let me use the free charging with the Rivian the last time I tried to DCFC it before going out of town. First time I had to pay for charging.

The EA on the north side of town that I usually use now has tiered pricing and $0.60/kWh 10am to 10pm during the day and $0.40 /kWh any other time. The Tesla Superchargers across the street and still $0.22-0.36 depending on time of day.

The EA west of me in the next suburb is tiered but still $0.56 /kWH during the day 10 to 10 and $0.40 any other time.
The Walmart EA in Bristow on the turnpike between Tulsa and OKC is now $0.68 anytime and the Walmart EA in Vinita on the turnpike between Tulsa and Joplin is $0.60 anytime.

I guess I need to get a ccs adapter for the Rivian so I can use the Tesla superchargers if I need to top up suddenly to go out of town. You never know if the magic docks will release or not. There are also a lot of new Francis Energy stations around town now that have been upgraded to Tesla magic dock superchargers at $0.48 /kWh and we have 2 Walmarts that have the new Alpitronic Walmart Energy chargers in the ground and powered up, just waiting for official commissioning and another 2 that have permits to begin construction.

Have you been following The Network Architect Channel? He's downloading the US Alternative Fuels database on a weekly basis and doing change analysis to see where the new EV Fast Chargers are being deployed. His last video was looking at the largest Convenience Store chains and noting that the top 15 appear to have an EV Charging Infrastructure strategy, except for the largest, 7-11, which includes Speedway.

For the Luddites among us, "EA" is probably Electrify America.

This is not to be confused with Electric Avenue of Canada, which provides charging station hardware.

My local electricity utility (Portland General Electric) has Electric Avenue charging stations in several of its franchised metro areas.
