Does anyone know if there would be a issue having the pass through output of a SWM power inserter feed a broadband deca vs the HR-24 that is currently hooked up? My 2 year old is obsessed with unplugging the power inserter so I'd like to move it to the utility room where the broadband deca is, I know I'd have to switch the coax around on the splitter to move to the power passing port, just curious if the broadband deca would work properly behind a power inserter.

As long as the power inserter goes to port 1 of the splitter, and it is wired correctly - jumper to DECA goes to "To Receiver" port, and the cable from splitter port 1 goes to "To SWM" port, it'll be just fine. Just remember though, the DECA still needs its own power connected, it will not pull power from the inserter.
