If a post is deleted for any reason, is the poster always notified?

I believe I ended last night with 24,001 posts, yet just entered a new post and it's still 24,001. Hard to imagine I transgressed, but maybe......

Something funky. I made another post, and instead of being 24,002 it was 24,003. I can only suppose the count is sometimes slow to update?


Now let's see if this is 24,004!

I'm a real numbers guy. I'd love to know average posts and threads started by all members over a year in and with at least 100 posts - and all sorts of other interesting but minimally useful stats.

They used to. Rey has taken the responsibility to a whole new level though. He is Scott's Pit Bull, and enjoys the role a little too much. (I think even Scott is a little scared of him....)
