i'm helping my father move into the HD world with a new TV and an upgrade to his Dish service, so I thought I'd post the details of his deal for anyone else interested or in the process of doing the same.
He currently has a 625 and a 322 (both SD receivers, both dual tuner) and he has the 2 dish install for 61.5, 110, 119. The tech is coming out today to upgrade him to an EA w/ a 1000.4 dish and to upgrade both receivers to HD, dual tuners.
All in all I think he is only going to pay $95 and this was for the receivers. The dish upgrade to EA is supposed to be free.
Overall I thought that was fair since he's getting both new HD dual tuners, one w/ DVR.
