Determining what kind of LNx i have

we've got a bud in the back and i'm wondering how i can figure out if it's analog or digital. we don't have a receiver... how would i determine it?

i can't just climb onto the dish (i'm 150 lbs) and open the hood can i? it's a mesh dish! Also, there's possibly a wasp nest in the hood of the LNx. so... um... yeah...

For the wasp nest get some insect spray. The dish dosen't determine if it is analog or digital the receiver determines that.
