Did anyone watch Eurovision Song Contest yesterday?

It was on a few European channels, I got to watch it on an Romanian channel on Galaxy 19.

I saw a little bit on the Dutch-language BVN station a few days ago. The performers that I watched were pretty lame, but then I've never been a great fan of the Eurosong contest.
At least there were no aggravating commercials every 10 minutes !!!!

Some of them were pretty good, but the quality of the songs in the competition has always been sub par, but even with that it is always interesting to see what other countries are doing.

Although I would really prefer if they all did something local and ethnic as opposed to just writing up a song and showing up.

We watch each year. Didn't care for the song Norway did and was surprised they won.

What a shame - looks as if I missed a good Eurosong contest on TVRI (Romanian TV station) on G19. I occasionally watch some programming on TVRI to see what news and entertainment is being shown. Oh well - maybe next year (as cliched by Ralphie from A Christmas Story).

I've watched it in the past and got a kick out of some of the performers from other countries but I rather everyone sing in their native language.

I'll never forget Lordi w/ their Hard Rock Hallelujah a few years ago.

As much as I liked their performance and song, and I am a rock/metal fan, but Come on, which one would you prefer?
