No, in fact, when i went to sears originally, they simply gave me information about the product... and if you buy it from them, they call up voom and place the order for you. I think it is just for people who are uncomfortable buying stuff over the phone or internet...
I tried going into both Sears in my area and nobody in either department knew how Zoom worked. Out of 6 reps all of them knew no more than Zoom offering some sort of satellite sevice. They didn't know what channels, how much, or even what to do if I wanted it. One of them even said the "start-up pack" for $49.99 that they have there is my monthly service payment. Anyways, I didn't even want to mess with it. Calling 1-800-getvoom tomarrow.
For the record, I don't mean to bag on Sears. I just think it is too new for them to know much about it. Some might rather work with someone in person.
