I took advantage of Dish's offer for a free 8VSB, although I have had one since they came out almost 3 years ago. I saw a discussion here awhile back about the chip they use in the 8VSB but I was wondering if it has been changed or improved since they first came out?
I took the new one apart enough to see that the fan is now plugged into the board, not soldered in like my old one, but that's the only difference I noticed.
