I have a Dish Duo setup. I hooked up diplexers as described in the forum and it worked for about 5 minutes, then I got total loss of signal on my satellite. I then removed the diplexers and hooked it up as it originally had been installed, but I still have a loss of signal. The other receiver still works fine so I know I am still getting the signal from the satellite. Could the diplexers cause something to short out?

If this is going through a DPP44 switch, it is imperative that you use the Blue colored Holland diplexers. In fact, while other diplexers may work, Dish stand behind ONLY the Holland diplexers and splitters as any other brand VOIDS warranty and Dish HPP--or whatever the monthly fee for extended warranty is called these days.
