Diplexers with FTA

Anybody using diplexers with a FTA system?

Situation…..want to put one of the receivers in the bedroom. Right now the OTA antenna line runs there. I could run another line, but the problem is the bedrooms sit on top of the garage (townhouse), so to run another line involves drilling another 2 holes and trying to fish it through (from the floor in the bedroom down to the ceiling in the garage is about a foot to 18 inches)….so I might do the diplexer route

Anybody doing this and does it work?

I know it works for DBS, but didnt know if it would work well for FTA

I use em all the time! The only problem with them is everyone thinks they are free : )

But they work just the same as DBS satellite, cheaper to run cable : )

it would end up being another 100' run plus the issue in the original post
