We are moving to a log cabin that has a shop that is about 100 yards away. Will we have to have two satellites? And two accounts? We want, well husband wants, to keep direct tv for NFL Sunday ticket...

Possibly. Don't need 2 accounts though. The dish is simply an antenna, all that you pay for is receivers. You would need a standalone receiver if 2 dishes are required.

2 dishes would be the best way to do that.
As long as it's on the same property (address wise) you should be good.

You could even run rg11 and it would work at 300 feet
