The old software here on the forum worked well for contacting a DIRT member. I will be darn if I can get it to work now. So what happened to just PMing a DIRT member?

What trouble are you running into? This is the part I always mess up on, because I send most my PM's through the main forum, but I have used this one a few times, and know the exact person prior to attempting. What is different now, than previously?
Old forum software you click on a member's name and you could PM them. Now you get a "start a conversation" statement with a small text box. Type in that box and an error pops up. ????????
I did recently as well. Found one DIRT member online in the "Helpers" section to the left of the screen on the forum page, and started a conversation. Worked fine.
