Disabling windows key in windows 7

Any ideas on disabling this key on keyboard? It is frustrating while in a game or otherwise and accidentally hit it. Can't find anything other than paying software programs that claim to do it.

There is a registry entry that you can make to turn it off.

Use an IBM Model M keyboard. No pesky windows key at all. In my opinion the most well designed keyboard of all time. ClickyKeyboards

Take a small flat head screwdriver and pop that key right off the keyboard... Problem solved!!
