Discovery Fit & Health network will launch on February 1, 2011. The network is part of the Discovery Communications family, and is a combination of what the Discovery Health and FitTV networks had to offer.
Discovery Fit & Health will feature programs based on real-life stories, which have become the trademark of Discovery Health, and the fitness-focused programs of FitTV. It will be available in an estimated 50 million homes, and will occupy the same channel currently being used by FitTV.
