Just redeemed a free offer for 6 months from Verizon on the 6.99 plan no commercials after 6 months they add it to my cell bill if I want to keep it. Lots of shows on the app to watch.

I now have to go to my Internet provider to ADD data as I'm closing in on thier stupid data limits ... another $30 to my bill if I want unlimited ... THATS not happening.

Are you on Comcast? In many areas, they now offer something called XFi Complete for $25/mo, which includes rental of their XFi gateway (a high-end modem+router combo unit) plus unlimited data. The gateway rental alone is $14/mo.

Just putting this here for anyone considering paying the extra $30/mo for unlimited data. You can save $5/mo by going with XFi Complete and you're also getting equipment that may be better than what you're using.

Nope, not in Comcast area ...
However, the ISP was Very nice today ...
They explained how the data offers work ... addl. &15 for 50 gb if I go over .... but they would give me 150 gb extra for $15 if I ask them for it ahead of time, instead of going over.
Then we discussed the fact that I have never gone OVER, but came close 1 month this year ....

I really don't come close if I'm not Binging something streaming wise, which when I binge heavy, I use alot, most of the time I'm D* or occasionally streaming, till I find something I really want to see.

Anyways ... he offered me a plan that would give me the Unlimited for 3 months for FREE .... He said just make sure you cancel or come talk to them before the 3 months is up so I don't get billed the difference when the 3 months is up.

So I'll do that and go in and see how much data I use over the three months and see if I need a different plan (or if they HAVE any different plans then.)
