Dish 1000

I am waiting on the installation of a VIP 622 system under the upgrade program. It's my understanding that I will be receiving a Dish 1000 antenna to replace my Dish 500 antenna. I presently have a side antenna to receive the VOOM channels at 61.5. Now I find out my local HD channels from Kansas City are at 129. Is the 1000 capable of providing all of my HD services?
