I am sorry in advance if this is not the right area to post this in. I have a customer I installed a used 301 receiver with the older yellow card in it. The one that I recall says starz and showtime etc. Everything went well with the install except that the programming won't come through. She gets 101 and all the preview channels. I spent time on the phone with dish tech support trying to get this issue resolved. The only think I keep coming back to is the system won't send programming to the old style card and that dish has to send out a new card. They (the two dish reps) say that is not the case, but alas can't fix the issue. The customer has been patient as Job but I want to find a resolution to this for her asap. Did I just get two dumb dumb dish dudes? Do I need them to send a new card in order to get programming? They acknowledge that a new card will be needed very soon but insist it should still be able to activate. Thanks for all your help. Yes it does have the most up to date software and great signal. The box worked for another customer up til last month.
