Now that I'm ready to install the Dish 500 with the DP Pro Dual LNB for satellite 129 only. My azimuth (magn) is to be 224.1, elevation is 34.6.
Due to the fact I'm not trying to get two satellites here, it appears to me, the screw should be 90, flat with the earth's surface... no tilting of the dish...screw degrees. Just pointing the dish to 129 is and do the elevation thing. Anyone agree, or not?

Can you cascade two DPP twins together, like you can with a DPP single LNB in to a DPP twin for the third satellite slot? I have two DPP twins sitting in the garage that I got at a yard sale and would like to put them to good use. I would like to do something like the OP here has done for 129, then feed the output in to the wing sat input on the other DPP twin. As an alternative, could I use them both with a DP34 switch?

I don't believe so. You can only use a DP Single or DP Dual with a Dish Pro Plus Twin. I never tried them with a DP34 but E* doesn't recommend DPP Twin Lnbs with a DP34 switch. It works but it's not recommended.

Here is some info on the Dish Pro Plus Twin:

Thanks for the helpful info Randall. I haven't really kept current with Dish Network equipment as my whole setup is currently legacy. Since I have those two DPP twins lying around I was trying to find an easy and inexpensive way to upgrade my system so that I could get another two tuner DVR. Looks like I will need a DPP single LNB and a DP34 to replace my SW64. Those, plus one of the DPP twins, should cover me for 110, 119, and 129. Then I should have no problem running two 622s and a 508 with my current wiring.

You can feed the DP twin into another DPP Twin however you'll only get the signals you receive on Port 1 of the DP Twin that is being substituted for a DP Dual (119).
