There are several ways to do it but most are not easy. One way is to record it to a DVD player via the S-Video or RCA jacks. Then you can get it into your computer that way.

Another way is to record it to your video camera with what ever inputs your video camera has then you can capture it to your computer from the video camera. Either way ends up with pretty good video it's not HD quality but it's as good as a VCR and probably even better.

You can get a capture card (or capture hardware that uses a usb port for laptops) to capture the video live and even do scheduling of when to record it to the hard drive.

Be carefull when joining this group.. I did that and now get over 100 pieces of spam a day, besides the regular group mail even after leaving it. If doing this, I would create a junk mail account to receive the updates.
