Came home, discovered 508 still working. Called Dish. They cannot deactivate it/remove it from my account until my scheduled service visit on 4/8. Or they could do it now and cancel the visit to install the EA antenna and check the ViP722.

So there will be a slight delay as we await the visit and deactivation. Sorry, I was not told about this, but it certainly fits other posts here.
