Dish 622 sounds like a coffee percolator

I firmly believe it's the internal fan, not the hard drive, though. No error messages yet, but temp reports are high, despite being on a laptop cooler. Can someone from DIRT please contact me about getting it exchanged? When I hear from you, I'll PM you my account info.Thanks in advance.
 
I agree with Laila. A percolating coffee sound is very atypical of a fan. Just to be safe, I'd copy the programs off the internal drive IMMEDIATELY to an external drive before they are lost and gone forever.

Thanks, TheKrell. I worked it out with Laila. As always, DIRT comes through. They are great.

I have not had any actual error messages yet, so I thought fan, instead of HD. And, yes, I know the error msgs are coming soon. I save stuff to the EHD regularly, fortunately. ?
