dish 921 and 942 Any Value???

Have a 921 and 942 sitting around. is there any value in them or should i just pitch them

You should be able to record OTA with them but totally useless for DISH programming.

Dish cant activate them anymore due to the Tivo lawsuit. You can use them as OTA recorder but you need a connection to at least 119 or 110 satellite to make the unit work

This has to be the funniest thread I have seen here in years . I was one of the first that had a 921 and finally took it up back and used it for target practice with 12 gauge buckshot!!!! Life sure was good with that POS wasn't it? Have a great New Year and tip your garbage man!!!

I can RMA those receivers and we usually are able to get back a 622 or at the very least a 625.
