I upgraded to Dish America from Welcome Package so I could watch the ESPN bowl games but have noticed that now I have lost MSNBC which is in the Dish America Package. I have a single lnb looking at 119. I get all the channels from Dish America that are carried on Sat 119 except MSNBC . I was getting this channel in the Welcome Pac on 119 in SD. Dish tells me I can only watch this channel in HD on sat 129 or 72 with the Dish America Package. The Dish Channel card for Dish America lists this channel as available in HD and SD. It is not listed as HD only. I use Dish in an RV and I cannot always point to an HD satellite. Why is MSNBC singled out as only available in HD. I should be able to access all my HD channels in SD also. I often us only 77w to watch most of my channels but MSNBC is not in HD on that sat either.

That series of packages were designed for people who wanted HD only, though it never made sense to me...paying about the same as a full, regular package and getting fewer channels.
