Dish Anywhere not working on Amazon Fire TV

My friends Dish Anywhere live TV is not working on the Amazon Fire TV and on their Android phone, however it is working on their PC.

The error says it can't connect to the receiver.

Is there any solution for this?

It's not working on my phone either. (android) It just says " Your receiver is currently tuned to orbital 61.5"

Perfect, thank you both! The DISH Anywhere feature will only allow one device at a time to watch live TV or DVR content. Just to make sure we are checking everything, are you only trying to watch on one device, currently?

Also, rb26260z, you said it's working on their PC. Are they using the DISH Anywhere site there, and the Apps on the phone and TV? I just want to make sure we're only having problems with the App, not both the App and site. - Jessica M.

It works great on my PC.

I fixed my issue. I uninstalled the app then re installed it. It's working now.

Only on one device at a time. It is just the Android app.

We think we realised the issue they run a vpn and for some reason it doesn't work with it on their apps but in the browser it works fine. It also works fine with the on demand content with the vpn turned on. Without the vpn it is working on their phone.
