Dish Anywhere using the Chomecast?

I can stream Dish Anywhere on the computer, but can I cast it with the Chromecast to the TV? I know there is no app for the Roku at this time. Hopefully that will change. Thanks.

Sounds like a limitation imposed by Dish so that you'll buy a Fire Stick

I just tried to cast to the TV and it does not work. I can cast all kinds of other apps but no DA.

You can do it from a phone by casting the entire screen to the tv. Kinda clunky i know.

Sure you can, just install the Chome browser on the pc. It has the casting part built into it. That's the way I use it, and it works perfectly.

Why not connect the computer to the tv if it’s a laptop
