I'm a do it your selfer and am looking at going HD, I currently have a 301 and a superdish-105, my question is can I put a 1000.2 LNB with an adapter on the superdish? I think the bigger dish would give the 1000.2 LNB a stronger signal. I would add a vip211 to get HD. if I can change my dish to add 129.
Does anyone know what the focal distance would be? Would it be the same as the measurement I now have from dish to 119 LNB face?

I believe the focus is different (lnb not the same distance to dish) and the bracket is a different shape.

You will be better off just getting a D1000.2, they are available for about $85.

Not to mention you would have to do some heavy modification just to fit the LNB on the arm. You would be better off getting the 1000.2 dish and a quick pipe adapter to fit it on your 2" mast.
