DISH Comments on COMCAST/NBC Universal

Today DISH Network issued comments to both the House and Senate regarding the merger of Comcast and NBC Universal.

SatelliteGuys.US has obtained a copy of both letters which are attached below.

Would of been nice if Direct and Dish could of filed a joint statment they tend to get more done when working together.

When your sending notes like this more is better, even if DIRECTV puts out the same exact letter.

One of the major arguments that DISH Network makes in their letter is something that DIRECTV cannot claim: Being an MCVP with no direct ties to a media conglomerate.

DISH Network is rightfully playing up the anti-domination angle and Liberty has put DIRECTV in a position where they can't discuss such things.
