Is it possible to re-point the unused 148 dish 500 (since locals are all now moved to the main dish 500) to the 121 (or mirror 108.7), and replace the LNB, so that one can add the international packages that are available on 121? Is that the easiest/cheapest solution to add the international packages?

no you cant the 148 isa dbs satellite and the 105-118-121 are fss so they use a different lnbf and a different size dish

well, I thought one could repoint 148 dish 500 to 121, replace the LNB to a fss one, and all should be good. I thought the only reason superdish is bigger is because it needs to point to three dishes, and since we only need 121 one point, a single dish 500 is ok.

FSS dish should be bigger due lower power KuFSS satellite transmitters.
