Dish DTVPal DVR TVGoS in NoVA

I usually keep this in 25419, where there is no TVGoS OTA station. I brought it home and plugged it in, in 22032, where there is supposed to be TVGoS on channel 9.

Anybody in Northern VA getting TVGoS on their Pal DVR? How long did it take for the unit to recognize and download the EPG? Right now, I'm only getting PSIP.

People with the Pal DVR elsewhere in the county, how long did it take for you?

Thanks. I just checked, and the TV Guide logo has appeared, and it appears to be populating some slots. No rhyme or reason, though: No info for a few days, then info for that channel. And different time slots are filled on different channels. Either way, looks like it'll all be there as you said.

Maybe I oughta aim for MPT and see if I can pull it in, with or without guide data. I assume if I can pull in an out of market without TVGoS, I'll still get PSIP.

Well, it goes out a week now, for most channels.

sounds about right. if you have a good clear path the data updates fairly quickly. otherwise...
