So my dish has been working great. I went to work and came home to watch my DVR shows and I get an error message when I hit the DVR button. Error 024 "This data is unavailable at this time." Never seen this before. Just had a heavy wet snow, does that make a difference? Help!

I'd try a soft boot--hold in the power button on the STB until the fan starts up. This will cause the acquiring satellite message if the snow is still blocking the signal, but you should be able to access prerecorded DVR programs.

try a reboot. then try pauses the program or record it. if you still get error your hard drive failed or is failing.
