Dish EHD giving 00 error

I was trying to access my EHD from one of my Joeys and it gave me an error code "00". Whenh I went to access the EHD on my Hopper that it is attached to via USB, it give the notice that it is preparing the EHD. I can see the tiles for each of the recordings on both TV's. Any ideas or am I screwed and lost the backup. Thanks and if I am in the wrong area, please forgive. Haven't been here in a while.

Reboot the Hopper and the ehd. Try booting without the ehd and then connect it.

Is it a single disc drive, self powered, 50gb-2TB, and usb 2.0? Also has this drive been on other accounts? It is tied to the same account number it was formatted for

2TB usb 2. I will try the disconnect and reboot and let you know.
