Dish Hd & Sports pack

This topic deals with the unavailability to obtain the sports pack with the HD only package.



I currently have the A 200 package , Dish Hd and the sports pack.

I asked about dropping the A 200, keeping the Dish HD adding the sports pack and replacing my 625 with a 621.

He said no problem

This condradicts what I have read in many other posts.

However, it does require a 24 month committment. He said my current committment has 6 months left, and that it would be cancelled in place of the new one.

Edit: I just tried to add the Sport Pack again and was shot down. You can only add it to AT100+ or higher.

I've tried adding the sport pack to Dish HD many times. Thier computer lets them add it at first but when they finalize the transaction it doesn't go through. I even emailed ceo@echostar.com and they said it was a contract issue and cannot be added. I wish it could though.

Edit: I've tried two different CSRs since your posting and cannot add Sports Pack to the HD only package. The number you listed is out of service. I was able to find out that you can add the Encore pack for $4.99.

I was finally able to get through to the number you posted. They would not let me add the multi-sports pack to the HD stand alone. On a further bad note, they said no new HD until the end of the year.

It appears that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing...........Looks like I will stay pat with my current programming
