Dish Home on the 721??

Does anyone know if the 721 is going to get Dish Home before the new year ????

Doubtful,

It has not even been released to beta testers yet. I will come though.

In the original brochures for Dish Home, the 721 was listed for July 2003!!!

Funny , on the last tech chat Dave said that we would see Dish Home by the last day of December. At least I think that is what he said.

With all these changes lately with Dish my head is swimming. If we could get Dish Home and maybe a future software update for name based recording capability then we would be all set.

I also would like to see name based recordings, or at minimum not record that block if the name doesn't match up.

I also was thinking that I would also like to see a log of what everyone in my house is watching, and how much, granted the TV/receiver gets left on, so it maybe a little skewed.

I would also like to see a more accurate guide in regards to the show ratings for the parental control.
