The VOOM FAQ file says you have to have two satellite lines leading to the receiver if the receiver has a DVR. The installation diagram shows a multiswitch if you have more than two recievers on the VOOM dish. Since I have two VOOM receivers, if I upgrade to DVR, I will need four satellite feeds into the two receivers.

With my existing receivers, will I have to put the multiswitch by the dish and route two more coax cabLes through my house to the receivers or will I be able to put multiswitches by the receivers and not run the extra cable?

Wrong forum for Voom products.

DID you mean DishNetwork DVR?

If so only a dual tuner DVR needs 2 feeds (ie 721/921 and 522 or whatever they will number it) all other DishNetwork receivers use 1 feed

I'm trying to get any information on dual feeds. I figure if you can run dual feeds off one cable for one type of receiver you should be able to do it with another. The VOOM DVR receiver is not out yet but maybe someone with Dish experience could answer this question.
