Anybody have dish Internet ? Any good ?

if your talking about internet by satellite.. If you can get internet from cable or phone company, go with one of those.. Dish Internet by Satellite should be your last resort...

The advertised Dish Net is by DSL where possible. It replace CenturyLink (ex-QWest) for me with an upgrade in speed and reduced cost.

I have dish internet and I like it. It's fast enough for me and much better than jet pack from Verizon. I can take my modem with me and use it in Florida in the winter and back in the Midwest in summer.
 
I think you have dishnet wireline. Which is different then dish net. Dishnet is satellite internet. Wireline is previously qwest now centurylink
 
Go to http://www.broadbandmap.gov/ and enter your address to see what providers are available. You may have a wireless provider OTHER THAN the big name phone carriers that offer a good plan. We had service from a no name company that wasn't very fast, but I have no bandwidth limit.
