dish model 2700 with card

we just purchased a used phaeton motorhome with a dish rcv'r model 2700 with a card in it. is it any good to use or is it to the recylce bin for it. we currently subscribe to dish at home and the coach has a kingdome manual sat dish on the roof, we are trying to get it set up to go hit the road. any help would be great. this is our first time being on the road and have much work to do on the coach and to learn. thanks to all

I dont think Dish activates those anymore. They are very old.

Useless receiver, I'd chuck it.

You really need to find out what receivers still work with your model of Kingdome, hopefully a 311 still works. DISH has discontinued most of the old receivers that were usable.
