I just got an Itouch the other day and I am so excited with all the apps out there. I see there is an Direct Tv app but is there an Dish Network one or one that can control my DVR? I highly doubt it since Dish is so behind in technology but I thought I would ask.

On your iPhone go to SlingGuide Login in the Safari browser.

I can't watch any programs on my itouch. All it does is control my TV. Am I suppose to be able to watch my programs on my Itouch?
No. Not until Apple approves the SlingPlayer for iPhone/iTouch. Also, you'll have to have one of the newer SlingBoxes for it to work (or the upcoming Dish 922 slingloaded receiver).
You can't watch TV with the DirecTV app either. Only Dish will have that technology (for now) once the SlingPlayer Mobile app for iPhone/iPod Touch comes out (hopefully soon).
I also expect that there will be a SlingGuide app that will do what DirecTV's app does. Hopefully both come out soon, but for now you can do it through the Safari Web app
