dish network on prime focus dish 2.4 meters dish pro lnb single

I am using this setup is increase the signal in my primefocus 2.40mts, this is the best set up for ku band sat on primefocus

Is it me or the LNBF looks slightly angled? Not directed to that small hole in a middle of a reflector.

what signal strength are you getting, and i will check my lnb. max i have seen is 47 am i supossed to see all transponders

Prime focus is hurting you. the strongest part of the signal is being blocked by the lnb itself. You would get better signal with Parabolic dish of the same size. Additionally, prime focus dish is not designed for the smaller feedhorn in a dish lnb. your lnb may only be getting signal from center section of the dish. not getting benefit of the full 2.4 meters. Where is the dish located?

The size of the smaller feed makes no difference. Now it would work better if he had a different scaler. But my guess if he has it a the correct focal length he will be loosing no more than 5%.

Less likely, CONUS perhaps and some spotbeams to PR side - find footprint for the sat.

no. There are transponders on 119 that are spotbeams for locals so you wont see them (I dont either and I'm in MN...)

spotbeams are on 1-5
