Dish Network Renews ComScore contract

ComScore today announced a new long-term agreement with Dish Network to renew its integration of Dish's TV viewing information with comScore's TV measurement service.

Dish has been a partner of comScore (formerly Rentrak) for nearly 10 years, and was Rentrak's first data partner with a national footprint. ComScore provides Dish with an internal system to make programming, marketing and advertising decisions, including measuring addressable campaigns.

It would be so cool to know exactly how many subs of a certain providers base actually use a certain channel, when things go south in negotiations. I know we never will, but it would be cool…
