Kalispell, Mt
I need to know the names of the DishNetwork Satellites for Montana. I am using the Google finder and there is a list of hundreds of Satellites, but I cannot pinpoint the ones I need. I found 110W, 119W and 129W, but it shows them at 176.3° from Dillon Mt, and that doesn't seem right. Thanks

Kalispell, MT is a western arc DMA, so you were correct finding 110/119/129. What exactly are you trying to do? If you are trying to point your dish, go to DishPointer.com on the tab at the top of this page.

Although DishPointer.Com gives:

Address: Dillon Mt
Latitude: 45.2158°
Longitude: -112.6342°

Satellite: Dish 1000.2 (110W, 119W, 129W)
Elevation: 37.5°
Azimuth (true): 189.0°
Azimuth (magn.): 175.5°

You must remember this is the azimuth you must point from where you are standing to look at the satellite in its orbit. The azimuths for the satellites are in relationship to the earth starting from the Prime Meridian (Zero Degrees) in Greenwich, England.
