Dish Online: one laptop works while another doesn't

We have two relatively new and powerful Dell laptops, one of which plays back content from Dish Online successfully most of the time. The other always loses the connection in a few minutes (when it plays back at all). Both are connected to the same wireless network; so, I'm assuming the problem is localized to the one laptop as opposed to a network problem. Can anyone suggest possible causes?
 
Can you swap physical locations and still point to the same laptop as the one having trouble?
 
Hook both laptops up via ethernet and see if the one having problems on wireless continues to have problems while the other continues to work.

IF that is the case, you probably have some driver messed up between the two builds ... something else you can do.. use Belarc Advisor (the *free* version) to get a detailed system summary of *both* systems, and then compare the output ... if the problem child has something different ... look to that to see if correcting it would change the app.
