I get a free Pay Per View movie rental certificate every month. I have yet to find an eligible movie. Everything I try to order on the Dish app comes up with an error message saying my account does not have HD eligibility. What I'm I doing wrong? I have a Hopper 3 with HD.

Does the certificate show a maximum price? I'm wondering if you try to order a movie, that costs more than the value of the free certificate?

Feel free to shoot me a PM and I can take a look at your account
Here are two of the movies I'm trying to order: 88989 & 89019. I sent you a PM but couldn't add the screenshots.

Have you had any luck finding a solution as to why I can't order movies?
I too get a free ppv certificate every month and although I get error messages from time to time I've never seen that one. Do you have HD enabled in your settings? If you're not sure it's under the TV icon in the settings. If you have it set to 480i or 480p that could be the problem. Change the setting to the highest resolution your tv can handle which is usually the 4k, 1080p or 1080i setting at the top.

I looked at those movies in ppv and do not see the order id numbers you provided. Try using channel 1 and order id numbers 89184(Black Bag) and 89185(Last Breath). Those two do not have 4k versions listed so you should be good price wise. Sometimes when a rental is also available in 4k it puts you over the $6.99 limit even if you select a lower resolution version.

I have an HD picture but I don't know how to change the TV settings. Under the TV Icon in settings, the only option is to Adjust Screen. Changing resolution is no longer available (that I can find) with my Hopper 3 Plus nor on my Joey 4. My main TV is 4K and it does pick up HDR on the Dish 4K channels.

Ok, sounds like you have HD enabled if you are getting 4k and HDR. I don't have the plus so I'm not very familiar with the settings on that. I only have the Hopper 3. The settings under the TV icon include adjusting the screen and different resolution settings.

You mentioned trying to order the movies using the Dish "app". Have you tried another way like through the My Dish website? I just used that a few days ago to order Captain America and use my free certificate. It was very easy.
