Dish Remote 10.0 IR to UHF

I got a dish remote that says 10.0 on the back and on the botton of the from it says ir to uhf. Will this remote connect to tv1 or tv2 or what can i use it for a have a 622 and a 722.

The IR to UHF TV2 adapter comes to mind. But you're the one with the remote in hand! Where did you get it? What did it come with? Are there any instructions or users manual? Can you take some close-ups and post them?

Looks like it is part of the adapter kit. Go to TechPortal 10.1 Remote and choose from the Troubleshooting drop-down list.

Aha, that makes sense. The IR to UHF adapter kit converts an IR receiver into a UHF model. The 10.1 remote itself doesn't appear to be much different from other Dish UHF/Pro remotes.

So I can't use just the remote for TV1 with out the adaptor
