I like to watch sporting events on a delayed basis. I record the event and start watching it a little after it starts. In the last month or two, I've had difficulty trying to skip forward 30 seconds or resuming after a pause.

Sometimes, rather than skipping forward 30 seconds playback goes backwards, sometimes as much as 20 minutes. Similar results happen when using resume, namely the playback goes back in time. Finding where I was watching before is a real pain. Yesterday, I gave up trying.

When the event recording is finished, I can play it back with zero issues. The 30 second jump and pause buttons work perfectly.

I am using a Hopper 3, software version H398 8/13/2025. The remote is a model 52.0. I have a version 54.1 remote, but preferred the older one and don't use the 54.1.

Today everything worked perfectly. I did make one change. I un-paired the 54.1 remote earlier. I'll keep testing.

Thanks for looking. Intermittent problems are very difficult.
