Wow

I went on to the live chat on dish website....I was asking about cancellation fees as I have had some serious upgrades in the last year....they transfered me to the loyalty retention specialist...and she did it again!

I was thinking of leaving to get Sunday Ticket....she gave me $20 off for each month of the next year....saving 240...to stay.

I didn't even have to mention my 12 year loyalty...she mentioned it and begged me to stay!

I wonder if I left money on the table??? ;)

Thanks dish!

Truth is.....my wife would never allow an all day tv event like the sunday ticket to happen...I'm p.....y whipped....

I don't think you left any on the table - and they gave you a deal they don't give most.

Just get the multi-sport pack and watch NFL Redzone.

I agree with you on that, Sundays are sacred in my house too. After church nothing happens except eating & TV watching, if a race is on I put on my headphones and crank it up.
I hope I did not offend you, it was not my intention. I am going on 16 years this month, not much ahead of you. She likes to think she wears the pants. I let her think what she wants, I don't like confrontation. I just go with the flow..............

W-H-I-P-P-E-D!!!!!!!!!:p

How much is Sunday Ticket these days? Someone at work told me it was $400???? Wow. . wasn't it only $69 the first year that they did it (and free before that if you had a C/Ku band dish).

Another good reason to try NFL Red-zone. If you like it, you'd spend about ($6 x 5 months) $30/year for some good coverage of those games.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I am a HUGE football fan but yet I still went into Dish knowing I wouldn't be able to get a football package. I just didn't want to spend the money for it and Dish had better deals for HD programming. I am happy with my decision and am even happier now with the addition of this channel. I will give it a shot.
